All things Christmas....

It's been full steam ahead on the Christmas makes over the last few weeks.
I started with bunting...

... moved on to decorations....

... and this week I've had my hook out & started on some winter woollies.
I have an order for Julie at Giftswithheart which was in nice & early - last year... lol. I made her a neck & wrist warmer set & now I'm making two more sets for her to give as Christmas gifts this year.
There's also two beanie hats on order for a mother & daughter.

More winter & Christmas gifts coming soon - watch this space......

Before I go, let me tell you about a lovely page that re-launched recently - Finnfolkflair run by Heather Finn. She's a great 'all-rounder' & can turn her hand to lots of crafts including crochet & card making. Pop over & say hello...

Enjoy your weekend folks...

DIY v Crafts

Okay, I know that the re-decoration of our son's room & the stairs & landing were well overdue. We've been talking about it for months & as usual, gone overboard on other related things too. Matt needed a new wardrobe & a chest of drawers so we did the Ikea thing & now that's another job for me... sigh.

One thing I do know - I'm not cut out for glossing - what a horrible job. I got more on me then on the doors, skirting & other places needed doing. We used to know a very nice man who came every so often & did it for us but he's given it all up now - shame.
One thing is for certain - I need to find another decorator to replace him.... !!!

Luckily, I've managed to squeeze in a little bit of sewing - just for my own sanity of course...
I have made a good start on my Christmas Decorations & have already sold some too.

Sold...  :-)
Sold  :-)
Monday's makes...  :-)
I've been very naughty & not done much with my Etsy page.
I just hope I can maintain it when I'm back at the day job...  :-(
Talking of which - there's just under 2 weeks left... ARGHHHhhhhhhh......

Hoping you are all enjoying your week whatever you're up to.

Crafty Gifts & Cards is back....

Hi Bloggettes - I'm back from a fab week in Pembrokeshire - enjoying the beautiful scenery, relaxing with lots of doggy walks & photography.... bliss.

I showed you a piccy of our accommodation in my last blog - well, that did it no justice. It was so lovely. Carole, our host was just brill & nothing was too much trouble for her. As it was self catering I took towels, tea towels & pillowcases etc only to find that everything was provided. It was a fab place - so well maintained & clean with an exceptional garden area too. I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing break with doggy friends.
Buster had a blast...!!!

The village of St Florence itself is picture perfect with 2 dog friendly pubs, both of which serve very good food, 2 churches & a shop - & that's about it.

The surrounding area & beaches are stunning....

Of course no holiday is complete (for me) without a thorough search of all the craft shops & markets. I managed to pick up some little 'bits'. I'm pleased with the wooden Xmas tree buttons - can you see them?

So, it's back to some Christmas crafting. I've got several felt decs cut out ready to trim & stitch plus some winter woollies like scarves, hats & wrist warmers to crochet so plenty to keep me busy.

Enjoy the coming week & take care...
